Gecko Labs products are designed for combat robotics applications. These products may include mechanical components, motors, batteries, electrical systems, sharp edges, high-speed moving parts, and other components which may present risks if incorrectly assembled, modified, stored, tested, or operated. Spinning blades must be tested in an appropriate location, such as a UK compliant, fully contained arena or test box.
By purchasing and using Gecko Labs products, customers acknowledge that they understand the potentially hazardous nature of robotics equipment and accept responsibility for ensuring that products are used safely and appropriately.
Customers are responsible for:

Gecko Labs products are supplied as components and kits intended for responsible hobby and engineering use. Gecko Labs cannot accept responsibility for injury, damage, or loss resulting from incorrect assembly, misuse, modification, unsafe operation, failure to follow guidance, improper storage, or use outside the intended purpose of the product.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that completed robots and assemblies comply with any applicable event rules, safety requirements, and local regulations.
Nothing within these terms excludes or limits any rights or protections provided to customers under UK consumer protection law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
Third-Party Products
Where Gecko Labs acts as a distributor or reseller of products manufactured by third parties, Gecko Labs supplies these products in good faith based on information provided by the manufacturer or supplier.
The manufacturer remains responsible for ensuring that their products are fit for purpose, accurately described, and compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and safety requirements applicable to those products.
Warranty claims relating to third-party products will be handled according to the manufacturer's warranty terms. Gecko Labs may assist customers in communicating with manufacturers or suppliers where appropriate to help resolve issues.
Product Modifications and Custom Builds
Gecko Labs may provide components intended to be modified, integrated, or used as part of a larger customer-built system.
Any modification, alteration, or integration of Gecko Labs products is performed at the customer's own risk. Gecko Labs cannot guarantee the safety, performance, or compliance of modified products or complete systems built using Gecko Labs components.
